Introduction
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) was initially used in locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) and the inflammatory form of cancer to downstage locally inoperable disease. Currently, it is recommended for patients with Stage 3 and with early-stage disease with HER-2 (human epidermal growth factor receptors positive or triple-negative (TNBC) breast cancer(1,2).
